Brand building and development

We are flexible and keen to discuss your special needs regarding packaging, for example: Labels, bottle shape, boxes of 6 /12 and closures. We are able to provide 20 and 40 foot Container packaging with slip sheets and loading in conjunction with your freight forwarder for wine export as well as facilitation of all export documentation and coordination from Continuing Approval right through to FAS Port Adelaide. Tank sizes range from 2,500 litres to 140,000 litres.

Our services include export market research, export ready assessments, foreign buyer and distributor identification and the complete outsourcing of all shipping, routing and documentation requirements.

Wine Export

The fastest growing export market for Australian wine for many years has been China. Australia remains well placed in China, second only to France, and currently achieves the highest average ranking value among the top 10 importing countries. China remains the biggest destination for Australia’s premium packaged wines.

For Royal Star to be an effective manager of the bottling and shipping of wine into Export Markets, it must do more than supply, bottle, store and ship wine. Indeed, the company has a pivotal role to play in supporting and building client brands within the Australian Wine Industry.

We are a family run business and with over 10 years’ experience in the wine industry. We have grown to be a trusted leader in the field of exporting containers of bottles to international markets. Our process is streamlined with thorough facilitation and handling of all export documentation and logistics.

Bottling and Packaging

We perform extensive Quality Control checks on the production line during the bottling and packaging process with a dedicated Quality Controller on each shift. Our bottling line can cater for bottle sizes from 375ml to 1500ml using either screw caps or cork, finished with heat shrink or poly laminate capsules and packed in 6-pack or dozen cartons.

  • Glass – The full range of OI and Orora bottles
  • Cartons – A range of plain cartons in both 6 x 750ml and 12 x 750ml
  • Dividers – Cardboard 160mm and 275mm tall
  • Capsules – We can supply plain capsules in PVC, Polylaminate, Tin or in Screw Cap from a range of approved suppliers
  • Cork – We offer printed or plain cork from 1 + 1 to Ref 1, 2 and 2/3 natural cork. Printed corks are made to order and take approx. 2 weeks
  • Dissolved oxygen, alcohol, sulphur, PH and TA
  • Screw cap torque and bubble testing
  • Label gap and height checks

  • Soft, sweet wine, carbonated Moscato and totally smashable is the story with this moscato from Royal Star Estate. Made by famed McLaren Vale winemaker James Mungall, smells of citrus, grapes, musk sticks and tropical fruits waft out of the glass, whilst the palate is light and more medium-sweet, with passion fruit and lemon flavours, a subtle spritz, and a smooth, juicy citrus finish. Good as a party starter, or with fruity desserts.

Made by famed McLaren Vale winemaker James Mungall, this ruby coloured wine is just bursting with juicy fruit flavours, driven by the ripe McLaren Vale Grenache grapes that it was made from. Best matched with a long weekend BBQ, this delicious, summer-friendly rose couldn't be anymore smashable if it tried.

  • Small tight bunches of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were picked to make this wine the colour of rubies, with the nose of cherry and blackberry. Fine tannins and integrated oak combined with dominant blackcurrant flavour produce the smooth elegant palate. Recommended for drinking on all occasions.

  • This 2016 McLaren Vale Shiraz displays typical ripe red and black berry fruit aromas and flavours with a firm but ripe tannin structure that will ensure that the wine continues to mature in the bottle for many years to come. Subtle french oak flavours and tannins enhance both the complexity and length of the wine, and makes it well suited to red meats and mature cheeses.

  • The Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre for this wine were sourced from several vineyards located throughout the Barossa Valley. A GSM with roundness and length. A nose and palate dominated by cherry ripe. Chocolate and spice. Overall a lovely, well balanced wine with full fruit flavor followed by a lengthy palate. Royal Star Estate use traditional Basket Pressed Grapes with only 7000 bottles produced.

  • This innovative 4-way blend of cabernet sauoignon, Shirag, Merlot & Grenache marry together to produce a wine deep in colour with fruit forward flavours. Displaying aromas of black fruits, sweet spice and dark chocolate. This wine has an elegant, well rounded palate. Finishing with elegant tannin, bottle aging has further integrated the finely balanced components.
